Sue Boyle, MRP Developer Advisory Board, Senior Environmental Practice Leader GEI Consultants, Inc.
Sue Boyle, senior environmental manager and program developer, leads GEI Consultants, Inc.’s brownfield and sustainability practice. She is an expert in brownfields, liability management, remediation and redevelopment, environmental funding, sustainability, and waste management. Her first career was as a senior manager for the State of NJ, during which she managed the site remediation program, including serving as Assistant Commissioner. Sue spent 14 months with a non-profit trade association as a senior executive on loan from the State, sharing her cleanup and redevelopment experience with the northeastern and mid-western states. In addition to Sue’s many publications, she created, managed, and continues to serve as featured instructor for unique programs and courses on: the science of brownfield implementation; environmental law & regulation; land use law; and environmental funding. She is a founding member of the Brownfield Coalition of the Northeast and its annual Northeast Sustainable Communities Workshop. Sue manages the NJ Licensed Site Remediation Professionals Association, the NYC Brownfield Partnership, and the Economic Development Association of NJ. Ms. Boyle is a graduate of SUNY Binghamton and has a MRP from Cornell University.
